2. Are there explicit diversity targets for participation and for employees from underrepresented groups in management?

The 50 – 30 Challenge

Women make up 50% of the Canadian population and racialized people, members of the LGBTQ2 community, persons with disabilities, and Indigenous peoples represent roughly 30% of the population. In partnership with business organizations and advocacy organizations, the Government of Canada is working to increase diversity by improving access to senior leadership positions for racialized persons, people who identify as LGBTQ2, people living with disabilities, as well as First Nations, Inuit and Métis.

Organizations can sign up for the challenge and use this as an opportunity to improve diversity in the organization
