These tools and techniques include taking an implicit association test, asking trusted colleagues for candid feedback and becoming conscious of the words and physical reactions that surface in interactions with others. Individuals are given questions to answer to justify their hiring decisions. These questions can include identifying if there is a specific type of person that an individual prefers to hire, how candidates are identified for promotion and explaining clearly why a candidate may not be the best fit.
