The Ontario Human Rights Commission presents a guideline for organizations that are looking to create their own anti-harassment and anti-discrimination policies, programs, and procedures in the A policy primer: Guide to developing human rights policies and procedures document. According to the organization, a “complete strategy” should include a “plan for preventing, reviewing and removing barriers,” an “anti-harassment and anti-discrimination policies,” “an internal complaints procedure,” “an accommodation policy and procedure,” and “an education and training program.” The A policy primer document contains a guideline for all of the above, including specific wording that organizations can adopt and adapt for their purposes.
